  • 2/3 cup Butter
  • 2 cups Brown Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Baking Soda
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Chocolate Chips
  • 1 cup Valentine M&M’s

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and brown sugar until smooth. Cool for about 15 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder; set aside.
  4. Once cooled, transfer the butter-sugar mixture to a large bowl and stir in eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined. Fold in half of the chocolate chips and M&M’s.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared pan and top with remaining chocolate chips and M&M’s.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until lightly golden. Cool slightly before cutting into bars.
