  • 4 salmon fillets (5 ounces each, skin on)
  • 6 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 2 ounces finely shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 4 tablespoons avocado oil (divided)
  • Lemon wedges and chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cut a slit in the side of each salmon fillet to create a pocket. Season with paprika, marjoram, salt, and pepper.
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic, and Cajun seasoning until smooth.
  3. Stuff each salmon pocket generously with the filling.
  4. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Cook stuffed fillets skin-side down for about 6 minutes.
  5. Flip carefully using a fish spatula; add butter and cook for another 5 minutes until done.
  6. Repeat with remaining fillets and serve garnished with parsley and lemon wedges.
