  • 1.5 pounds white mushrooms
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 6 ounces cream cheese
  • ½ cup grated mozzarella
  • ¾ cup breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan
  • 3 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Quarter the mushrooms and sauté with salt and pepper until water evaporates (7-9 minutes).
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in cream cheese until mushrooms are coated, then blend in mozzarella, half the breadcrumbs, and half the Parmesan.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  6. Prepare the topping by mixing remaining breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, and melted butter; sprinkle over the mushroom mixture.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown on top.
