Ingredients

Scale
  • 300g ribeye or sirloin steak
  • 2 packs instant ramen noodles
  • 2 cups chicken or beef broth
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise (Kewpie preferred)
  • 1 tbsp gochujang
  • 1 tbsp sriracha or Korean chili sauce
  • Chopped green onions and toasted black sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. 1. Marinate the beef: In a bowl, mix soy sauce, gochujang, sesame oil, brown sugar, minced garlic, and black pepper. Add steak and coat well. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. 2. Prepare the creamy sauce: Combine mayonnaise, sriracha, sesame oil, garlic powder, and optional sugar in a bowl. Whisk until smooth and chill.
  3. 3. Cook the broth and noodles: In a pot over medium heat, simmer broth with gochugaru, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and salt. Boil gently before adding ramen noodles; cook until al dente.
  4. 4. Grill the beef: Heat a grill pan over high heat and sear beef for about 2–3 minutes per side until caramelized. Rest before slicing thinly against the grain.
  5. 5. Assemble: In bowls, add noodles followed by hot broth. Drizzle creamy sauce on top and add sliced beef. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
