Description

Seafood Fried Rice is a vibrant and delightful dish that combines shrimp, crab, and fresh vegetables, all tossed together with savory sauces for a quick coastal-inspired meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups day-old cooked jasmine rice
  • 12 oz medium shrimp (peeled & deveined)
  • 6 oz crab meat (fresh or imitation)
  • 2 large eggs (beaten)
  • ½ cup finely diced carrots
  • ½ cup green peas
  • ½ cup diced red bell pepper
  • ¼ cup chopped green onions
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger (minced)
  • Soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Marinate shrimp and crab in soy sauce, sesame oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, and white pepper for 10–15 minutes.
  2. Chop vegetables into small pieces for even cooking.
  3. Heat a wok over high heat; add vegetable oil until shimmering.
  4. Stir-fry marinated seafood for about 2–3 minutes until shrimp turns pink; remove from wok.
  5. Add garlic, ginger, onions to the wok; stir-fry until fragrant.
  6. Add carrots, peas, bell peppers; stir-fry until crisp-tender.
  7. Push veggies to one side; scramble beaten eggs on the other side.
  8. Mix in cold day-old rice; break apart clumps and toss with veggies and eggs.
  9. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil; stir well to coat rice evenly.
  10. Return seafood to the wok; combine everything on high heat for another minute.
  11. Garnish with green onions and serve warm.
