  • 8 oz ziti
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz imitation crab meat
  • 1/2 tsp old bay seasoning
  • 14.5 oz chicken broth
  • 1/4 C jalapeno pepper, chopped
  • 1/3 C sweet onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 C all-purpose flour
  • 1 C sour cream
  • 3/4 C shredded colby jack cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in a large pot as per package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. Season the shrimp with old bay seasoning.
  3. In a sauté pan, melt butter over medium-low heat; add onion, garlic, and jalapeno; cook until tender.
  4. Add seasoned shrimp and crab to the pan along with sherry and chicken broth; cook until shrimp are opaque.
  5. Whisk together sour cream, white pepper, and flour in a bowl; add to seafood mixture and simmer until thickened.
  6. Combine cooked pasta with seafood mixture; transfer to a baking dish and top with cheese.
  7. Bake at 350°F for about 10 minutes; broil briefly until cheese is bubbly.
