- 4 tbsp butter, softened (room temp)
- 1 1/2 cups confectioners sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup whole milk
Instructions
- Prepare the cream cheese glaze by whipping softened cream cheese and butter until smooth. Gradually add confectioners’ sugar, vanilla extract, and milk; set aside.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cocoa powder, and salt. In another bowl, mix buttermilk, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, apple cider vinegar, and red food coloring.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
