- 12 oz cheese tortellini
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- Optional: ½ tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh chives, chopped
Instructions
- Cook the tortellini in salted boiling water according to package directions. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
- Season steak cubes and sear in olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat for 2–3 minutes per side until browned.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Stir in red pepper flakes, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, parsley, and chives.
- Add the cooked tortellini and steak bites to the skillet; toss with reserved pasta water and Parmesan until creamy.
- Serve hot, garnished with extra Parmesan and herbs.
