  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 lb thick-cut bacon
  • 12 slider buns
  • 4 oz brie cheese (optional)
  • Arugula or baby spinach for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cut chicken breasts into slider-sized pieces. In a bowl, mix olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper. Coat chicken with the marinade and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Cook chicken in a skillet over medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes per side until fully cooked.
  3. In a saucepan, combine maple syrup, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and red pepper flakes. Simmer until thickened.
  4. Cook bacon until crispy; crumble into pieces.
  5. Assemble sliders by layering bun bottoms with maple glaze, chicken pieces, more glaze, brie (if using), crumbled bacon, and greens before topping with the other bun.
