  • 12 ounces linguine pasta

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook linguine according to package directions; reserve ½ cup pasta water before draining.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper; cook until browned (5-7 minutes). Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter; add garlic, paprika, and optional red pepper flakes. Sauté for about a minute.
  4. Stir in Dijon mustard, lemon juice, lemon zest, and chicken broth. Simmer gently while scraping browned bits from the pan.
  5. Add heavy cream and half of the parsley; cook for another 2 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Return chicken to pan with cooked linguine and parmesan; toss to coat evenly, adding reserved pasta water as needed.
