  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 2/3 cup softened butter
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons corn syrup
  • 24 ounces chocolate almond bark
  • 1 tablespoon oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×9 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mix flour and sugar in a bowl; add softened butter and combine until crumbly. Press into the prepared pan and bake for about 20 minutes until golden.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter with brown sugar, corn syrup, and sweetened condensed milk. Stir until boiling; cook for an additional few minutes until thickened.
  4. Pour the caramel over the cooled shortbread and allow it to set.
  5. Melt chocolate with oil in a microwave-safe bowl. Dip each bar into the melted chocolate using forks and place on parchment paper to cool.
