Instructions

  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil or unsalted butter in a large saucepan over medium-low heat.
  2. Add 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms and sauté for about 5 minutes until golden. Season with salt and black pepper.
  3. Pour in 1/4 cup whole milk or heavy cream and add 1/4 cup crumbled gorgonzola cheese. Stir until melted and smooth.
  4. Remove from heat and mix in 1 tablespoon white truffle oil along with fresh herbs to taste.
  5. Toss the cooked pasta in the sauce until well-coated, then serve topped with grated parmesan.
