- 1/3 cup strawberry jam
- 2 ounces cream cheese
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup hot milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Blend freeze-dried strawberries into a fine powder using a blender.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together butter, sugar, and vanilla until fluffy. Add egg and mix well.
- Gradually incorporate flour, baking soda, part of the strawberry powder, and salt. Mix in strawberry jam for moisture.
- Roll dough into one-inch balls and place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for about 8 minutes, flatten slightly, then bake an additional 2–3 minutes until golden at the edges.
- For icing, combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, hot milk, vanilla extract, and remaining strawberry powder until smooth.
- Once cooled, dip cookies in icing or drizzle over the tops.
