- 16 oz gnocchi
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup yellow onion, diced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 5 tbsp ricotta cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3/4 cup chicken broth
- 2.5 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried basil
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Sauté diced onion for 3-4 minutes until translucent; add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Add ground turkey to the skillet; break apart as it cooks and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Cook until browned (about 5-7 minutes).
- Stir in marinara sauce and chicken broth; bring to a gentle simmer.
- Add gnocchi directly to the skillet; cook according to package instructions until they float (2-3 minutes).
- Remove from heat and dollop ricotta cheese on top; garnish with dried basil.
