- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter (for greasing the baking dish)
- Optional: 1/2 cup crushed crackers or breadcrumbs (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- If using fresh broccoli, chop into small florets; if frozen, thaw and drain.
- In a medium saucepan, bring the broth to a boil. Add rice, cover, and simmer for about 15-18 minutes until tender.
- In a large bowl, mix cooked rice, broccoli, cheddar cheese, soup, sour cream, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and pour the mixture in. Optionally top with crushed crackers or breadcrumbs.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes; then remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until golden.
