- 1 can cream of chicken soup (10.5 oz)

- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups cornflakes, crushed
Instructions

- Sauté the chopped onion in 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet until soft and golden.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, sautéed onions, and 2 tablespoons melted butter. Mix well.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Gently fold in the frozen hashbrowns until fully coated.

- In a small bowl, mix crushed cornflakes with the remaining melted butter and sprinkle over the casserole.
