  • 4 large shrimp
  • 2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 medium russet potatoes
  • 1 pound fresh green beans
  • Olive oil
  • Butter

Instructions

  1. Boil peeled potatoes in salted water for 15-20 minutes until tender; drain.
  2. Mash potatoes with butter and milk until creamy; season with salt and pepper.
  3. Season shrimp and salmon with Cajun seasoning.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet; cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink; remove.
  5. In the same skillet, cook salmon for 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through; remove.
  6. For the sauce, sauté minced garlic in butter, then add heavy cream, chicken broth, Dijon mustard, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika; simmer until thickened.
  7. Return seafood to the skillet to coat in sauce; simmer for an additional few minutes.
  8. Blanch green beans in salted water for 3-4 minutes then sauté with garlic and optional red pepper flakes.
  9. Serve mashed potatoes topped with seafood and sauce alongside green beans.
