  • 6 boneless center cut pork chops
  • 1 1/2 cups buttermilk
  • 2 cups Panko crumbs
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • olive oil for frying
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Marinate pork chops in buttermilk for at least 2 hours (up to 24 hours).
  2. Preheat your oven to 325°F.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine Panko crumbs, flour, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  4. Remove pork chops from the marinade and lightly season with salt and pepper.
  5. Coat each chop in the Panko mixture until fully covered.
  6. Heat olive oil in a large oven-proof skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chops for about 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  7. Pour chicken broth around the edges of the skillet and sprinkle extra Parmesan on top of each chop.
  8. Transfer to the oven and bake for about 20 minutes or until cooked through.
