  3. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and whisk lightly until just combined.

  5. Heat an electric skillet or cast iron skillet over low heat and brush with vegetable oil.
  6. Pour slightly less than 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface (about 90 seconds) before flipping to cook through.
  7. Repeat until all batter is used, brushing more oil on the skillet as needed.
