Ingredients
- 6 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups quick-cook grits
- 8 oz smoked Gouda cheese (shredded)
- 8 oz sharp cheddar cheese (shredded)
- 1/2 cup Half & Half
- 4 large eggs (beaten)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, boil the chicken broth. Stir in minced garlic followed by the grits. Reduce heat and cook until thickened, about 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and mix in smoked Gouda, sharp cheddar, butter, Half & Half, beaten eggs, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and bake for 30-40 minutes until set and golden brown on top.
